Dong Side Cousins, NAPS, World Cup

Pearl and I hosted a Dong Side gathering. Aunt Liz came and spoke a little at the end. It was a praise and prayer. I was tearful, as it reminder me of my mom. For decades, Aunt Liz and Uncle Roy held our extended family together by hosting Christmas celebrations each year. It was nice to gather again, and see cousins and more.

For NAPS, I await my security clearance. I was fingerprinted yesterday. I am both excited and daunted by the dozens of details to start a new job, work 8 hours a day (again), learn a curriculum, meet new coworkers, move across country, rent an apartment, set up a new home, buy a car, catch up with classmates, and build a new social life.
